In Raleigh, family-run Italian places are busiest on weekend evenings and around holidays, when reservations or call-ahead seating are worth it. BYOB is common at smaller restaurants in some states, with a modest corkage fee or none at all; the listing or a quick call will tell you. Wing-and-pizza shops across North Carolina do most of their business by delivery and price wings by the piece or in fixed counts, with sauce heat adjustable on request. Catering trays, party pizzas and sheet pies need a day's notice at most places, and more around big game days.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 4:30β8:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (919) 747-7887. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, cucciolonc.com.
Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 495 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded italian restaurants in Raleigh.
Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Raleigh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Top brunch location the the Triangle. I love that we can make a reservation and thereβs something on the menu for everyone. They always accommodate my egg allergy. We had the lemon ricotta honey toast for starters, which was creamy and zesty; the breakfast al americano with crisp bacon; butter chicken bruschetta, words cannot describe how delicious, steak and eggs (egg-free for me), perfectly medium rare and delicious Americanos and london fogs (the London fog was not on the menu and they made it perfectly). Hands down one of my favorite brunch spots in the triangle.

We had a lovely dinner for my birthday. The black garlic Alfredo with gluten free pasta was delicious. The spicy vodka rigatoni was perfect and the marinated olives were amazing! The drinks were great too. The staff were courteous and friendly. Everything was perfect!

My son brought me here for an early Birthday brunch/ dinner.Homemade tagliatele with grilled chicken and black garlic alfredo was delicious. He chose the tagliatelle bolognese also delish. And another ordered French toast with strawberries, a light syrup and whipped cream. Which was equally delicious. Will try again as it was a good price point.

Had an incredible experience at Cucciolo Terrazza. Chef Jamey Adcox put together a beautiful vegan prix fixe for my wife and me, and every course was thoughtful, creative, and full of flavor. You can tell there was real care behind the menu from start to finish. What stood out even more was the level of execution and the willingness to approach vegan cuisine with intention and skill, not as an afterthought. That kind of versatility and attention to detail says a lot about a chef and a kitchen. The entire experience felt special, elevated, and genuinely memorable. Grateful for the hospitality and the effort that went into making the night what it was. Highly recommend.

Dined here for the first time on Valentineβs Day. We didnβt have a reservation, but were able to seated at the bar since someone else missed their reservation. They had a preset menu that was $100 per person. The food was great, but certain courses did take longer to come out and the bar was busy. My issue was when we received the bill. No where on the website, regular dinner menu, or the Valentineβs Day menu mentioned that 20% auto gratuity was being applied to our bill. The host never mentioned it and neither did our server. We only found out when we got the bill. A couple sitting beside us was also shocked by this. We were a party of 2 so Iβm not sure if they did this specifically for Valentineβs Day or the reasoning behind it but it shouldβve been clearly communicated from the start. Not sure if Iβll be back.
